The Union of Professional Educators – Voice of the Workers, has been having internal discussions regarding the Equality Bill number 96. The union has identified a number of issues in this bill which might threaten the freedom and sense of equality of certain sectors of our society, thus hindering the true sense of equality which should be at the core of this bill.
The UPE will be holding meetings with representatives of the Curia in this coming week to further discuss the concerns which have been arising. The outcomes of these meeting will be published with the definite standpoint of the union once these meetings are concluded.
Should any of our members have any concerns or queries about the equality bill and its content, they should not hesitate to contact the union directly via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling our offices on 2590 5400.
